Cocktail Meatballs

1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
1/3 cup minced onion
1/4 cup milk
1 egg
1 tsp parsley
1tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup shortening
1 (12 oz) bottle chili sauce
1 (10 oz) jar grape jelly

Miz ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, milk, egg and next 4 ingredients together.
Gently shape into 1-inch balls.  Melt shortening in large skillet; brown meat balls.
Remove and drain on paper towels.  Heat chili sauce and jelly together in skillet,
stirring constantly until jelly is melted.  Add meatballs.  Stir until coated.  
Simmer uncovered 30 minutes.  Makes 5 dozen appetizers.
