Fruit Loaf

8oz self-rising flour
4oz granulated sugar
4oz dried fruit (sultanas, raisins, currants)
1 egg
1 cup milk

Sift flour.  Add sugar, fruit.  Add beaten egg and milk.  Put into greased, floured loaf tin.
Bake 45 minutes to 1 hour at 350*.  Cool, remove from loaf tin.  Slice and butter.
Does freeze good.
