Sweet and Sour Meatballs

1 lb ground beef or turkey
1/2 cup Bran Flakes, cracker crumbs or bread crumbs
1/4 cup milk
2 tbsp finely chopped onion
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 egg
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 cup pineapple chunks
1/3 cup vinegar
1/3 cup catsup
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 sm green pepper

Mix meat, crumbs, milk, onion, salt, Worcestershire, and egg.  Shape into balls, about 20.
Cook over medium heat, turning occasionally, until brown, about 20 minutes.  Or cook in
ungreased oblong pan, 9x13 inches, in 400* oven until light brown, 20-25 minutes.  Drain fat.
Mix brown sugar, vinegar, catsup and soy sauce in pot.  Combine cornstarch and enough
water to thin.  Stir into pot.  When thickened, stir in pineapple (with syrup or
liquid).  Heat to boiling, stirring constantly; reduce heat.  Add meatballs.  Cover;
simmer, stirring occasionally, 10 minutes.  Stir in green pepper.  Cover; simmer until
crisp-tender, about 5 minutes.  Serve over hot rice.
