Mexican Beef Stew

2 lb stewing beef
1 lb can stewed tomatoes
1 lg onion (chopped)
2-5 chilies or jalapenos, depends on how hot you like it
2 tbsp minced garlic
Oregano, to taste
Basil, to taste
Salt, to taste
Pepper, to taste

Brown beef in a little bit of flour.  Place beef and remaining ingredients in
crock pot.  Let simmer over low heat for a couple of hours.  Serve with rice, bread,
cold beer, and corn chips.  Excellent with other Mexican dishes.
