Scalloped Corn
2 tbsp butter
1/4 cup onion
2 tbsp flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp dry mustard
Pepper
3/4 cup milk
1 (16oz) can whole kernel corn
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 sm can oysters, chopped
Saute butter and onion in a saucepan. Do not brown onions. Add flour, salt, paprika
and dry mustard and pepper. Cook, stirring constantly for 1 or 2 minutes. Gradually
add milk, corn, egg and oyster. Stir until thickened and warm. Pour into a greased
casserole dish. Bake in oven at 350* for 20-30 minutes or until set.
